Dutch Open

"A classic. One of the oldest tournaments of the European Tour"

For Dutch golfers, the Dutch Open is a tournament they look forward to every year. This classic is one of the oldest tournaments of the European Tour and was first held in 1912 at the Haagsche Golf & Country Club. This year the 102nd edition will take place, for the second time at Bernardus Golf. We would like to welcome you from May 26 to 29. You can buy tickets here.

Bonus Points

For the first time in history, the Dutch Open is included as a tournament in which three players have a chance to compete in the 150th Open Championship on the Old Course. Points also count toward qualifying for one of ten placements for the US Open.

Thomas Pieters

Participants 2022

We will receive some appealing names for the 102nd edition of the Dutch Open. Thomas Pieters and Darius van Driel, who regularly train with us, can be seen in action. Bernd Wiesberger and the twins Nicolai and Rasmus Højgaard are also among the talents. Also present will be the 2021 winner Kristoffer Broberg and ambassador and two-time winner Joost Luiten. Just announced are Thomas Detry as well as Ryder Cup stars Thomas Björn, Rafa Cabrera Bello and Thorbjörn Olesen. Last year the players called the practice facilities of Bernardus Golf 'Disney World'. A wonderful compliment. Would you like to follow in the footsteps of the European Tour players?

Beat the Pro

Beat the Pro

An exciting feature during the Dutch Open is Beat the Pro which will take place at hole 8 (par-3). Amateurs get the chance to beat the tour players with one stroke. If the participant hits the ball closer to the hole than the tour players in the flight, the amateur wins! This hole will count for the tour players for the tournament score, a great concept!

Top 50 golfcourses

Every two years the ranking of best golf courses in the Netherlands is presented by an independent foundation. Bernardus is ranked number 8, a great achievement that we, as a young course, are proud of. "The Dutch Open has really put the course on the map. Fun to play, maintenance a big 10. Bernardus is for me the best new course in the Netherlands." - Top 50 panel
