Are you an experienced (>5 years) and driven Sales & Event Manager who, together with the team, knows how to create memorable experiences for our guests and members? Then this position is definitely for you!

Bernardus Golf is a challenging 18-hole Championship course located near 's-Hertogenbosch. Since its opening, Bernardus Golf has hosted the KLM Open in 2021, 2022, and 2023 as part of the European PGA Tour. In 2026, it will host the largest women's golf event in the world, the Solheim Cup, for the first time in the Netherlands.

Our Day Membership is a unique concept where guests have access to our 18-holes challenging course and get full access to all facilities that Bernardus Golf has to offer including our driving range and practice areas; tennis court, heated outdoor pool and gym. What we are looking for:

As an Sales & Events Manager at Bernardus Golf, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events at our beautiful golf course and associated facilities. You will work with our team to create memorable experiences for our guests, ranging from golf tournaments to social events. You are a creative and organized professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality and event planning.


You are:

  • Experienced >5 years in planning and executing events, preferably in the hospitality or golf industry.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong in communication, both orally and in writing, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative and innovative, able to create memorable events that align with the brand identity of Bernardus Golf.
  • Flexible, with no 9 to 5 mentality, and available on weekends (if needed).
  • Proficient in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • Stress-resistant, proactive, and decisive.
  • Sales experience.
  • Familiarity with event planning and management software is a plus.
  • Affinity with golf is a bonus.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality management, event management, or a related field

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, organizing, and executing various golfevents
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure that events run smoothly and meet guest expectations.
  • Preparing and managing event budgets, including cost estimates, price negotiations, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinating logistical aspects of events, such as catering, entertainment, audiovisual needs, and guest accommodation.
  • Developing and implementing marketing and promotion strategies to promote events and stimulate participation.
  • Acting as a point of contact for guests and clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and attention to detail.
  • Evaluating the success of events based on guest feedback and analyzing performance against set goals.
  • Staying informed about trends and developments in the golf and events industry and applying this knowledge to create innovative and distinctive events.
  • Pro active Sales approach to the corporate market
