What to expect?
Before you arrive
When you’ve booked your fitting, you will receive an intake form with questions about your golf game. This enables us to prepare the fitting, in order to use our time efficiently.
Upon arrival
Arriving sharp allows us to take full advantage of your time. Once you arrive you will be welcomed by one of our expert club fitters and taken into our revolutionary studio where you will start to hit some balls to warm up.
Consultation
Whilst warming up your fitter will explain the process in detail and ask you a number of questions around your game, current equipment and what you are looking to achieve from your fitting. This will help to establish a baseline and give your fitter a detailed picture of all factors that may affect the performance of your clubs.
Baseline
During every fitting our main objective is to ensure that your club is as efficient as possible for you. The first thing your fitter will do is to assess and analyse length, loft/lie and swing weight on your current clubs.
We use Trackman data such as spin rate, launch angle, spin loft and angle of attack to determine all elements which may influence the functioning of the club.
All aspects of the data we gather will be explained in detail as you hit balls with your current clubs during the fitting process. The data will then be used as a baseline to refer back to during the fitting.
The fun part
Your fitter will use this baseline data, along with their knowledge and experience, to select club heads and shafts from our interchangeable fitting system (we offer over 20,000 possible combinations). Almost all premium golf brands are available.
You will then hit shots to test out the different heads and shafts, comparing data and fine-tuning as you go. Your fitter will display the Trackman data on the studio's TV screens and explain why each change is being made. Although our fitting studio is indoors, you have the option to hit shots outside on the range from the grass.
Recommendations
At the end of the session, your club fitter will discuss your options with you, detailing what they feel is the ultimate club combination for you. If new clubs are recommended, they will provide you with a detailed club specification and price breakdown.
If they believe your current clubs are a perfect fit for you, they will let you know. It is then completely up to you whether you decide to make a purchase; there is no pressure to buy. If you choose to purchase your recommended clubs, any fitting fee you have paid will be deducted from the price of your order. For an additional fee, we offer the option to SST PURE each golf club. Ask your fitter to explain the process and advantages of PUREing a club
