Bernardus Golf is a challenging 18-hole Championship course located just outside ’s-Hertogenbosch. Since its opening, Bernardus Golf has proudly hosted the KLM Open in 2021, 2022, and 2023 as part of the European PGA Tour. In 2026, Bernardus will host the Solheim Cup for the very first time – the world’s largest women’s golf event.

Our Day Membership is a unique concept, where guests are full members for a day and can make use of all facilities available. This includes our practice facilities, gym, tennis court, heated outdoor pool, sauna, and hammam. Guests can end their day with a Michelin-star dinner at Noble Kitchen.

Working in Golf Operations at Bernardus means variety in your daily tasks – no two days are the same. You’ll work in a beautiful environment, spend a lot of time outdoors, interact with members, and carry out physical tasks to ensure our members have everything they need. We are constantly improving our processes and are therefore looking for someone who can think along with the team to deliver the ideal Bernardus Experience to our members. Flexibility, empathy, and hospitality are key.

You are:

• Well-presented, organized, proactive, and with a strong sense of quality;
• Hospitable, service-oriented, and a true team player with a sense of responsibility;
• Flexible, not bound to a 9-to-5 mindset, and available to work one weekend day;
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• Resilient, proactive, and decisive;
• Experienced with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer literate;
• Holder of a valid driver’s license (B);
• An affinity with golf is a plus.

Tasks:

• Team briefing: Together with your colleagues, you start the day with a good cup of coffee, discuss the planning, and align with Greenkeeping and Front Office colleagues about the day’s specifics;
• Member starting times: You guide members at the start of their round, inform them about course conditions and available facilities, monitor the tee sheet, and manage guest start times. You also provide each flight with a GPS device to monitor the pace of play;
• All-round host/hostess: You welcome members, assist with golf bags, buggies, and trolleys, and make sure golf clubs are clean and ready before play. On the course, you monitor flow, ensure etiquette is followed, and act as a marshal to make sure members enjoy their round to the fullest;
• Driving Range: You ensure the Driving Range and bar are tidy and well-presented. You stack ball pyramids, check stock levels, report any irregularities, and provide members with information.
